Not focus on what’s missing, but on who you’re becoming. Stop waiting for the perfect moment or sulking over how far you have to go. Change your mindset, and you change everything. Let’s dive into the 5 mindset shift tips that will help you unlock your inner glow and become the woman you were always meant to be.

Mindset Shift 1: “Why me?” → “What is this teaching me?”

This mindset shift will move you from victim to empowered. When you’re in a victim mindset, life feels like it’s happening to you — not for you. But every hardship carries a hidden invitation. Challenges aren’t punishments. They’re divine classrooms. The hardest moments in my life have always been the ones that refined me the most — shaping me into a stronger, softer, more self-aware version of myself.

Instead of asking “Why is this happening?”, ask “What is this growing in me?” Because growth rarely comes wrapped in comfort it comes wrapped in fire.

As a woman of faith, I believe God sometimes leads us into the storm not to break us, but to build our trust in Him. Hard seasons teach you how to lean, how to listen, and how to rise. And more often than not, what feels like a storm is actually a setup for your next breakthrough.

On the other side of the struggle is the version of you that’s ready to walk into the dream you prayed for.

Shift: Life isn’t happening to you, it’s happening for you

Mindset Shift 2: From “I’ll be happy when…” to “I choose joy now.”

Waiting for the perfect body, relationship, or paycheck to feel fulfilled will keep you stuck. Lack creates more lack, the dream version of yourself is not waiting, she is being. You have to shift your mind towards abundance to create more abundance. Start generating joy today through gratitude, movement, creativity, or worship, and watch how fast your outer world catches up to your inner glow. For me what helped, honestly was writing 5 things I’m grateful for morning and night. This trains your mind to focus on gratitude and not lack. It might take a few tries, don’t give up. Just think about how many years you have spent training your mind to focus on inadequacies.

Shift: You don’t manifest your dream life by striving. You manifest it by aligning.

Mindset shift 3: From “What will they think?” to “What does God think?”/”What do I think?”

Living for validation will exhaust you. Living from divine alignment will free you. Once you start walking in purpose, not everyone will understand, and that’s okay. You’re not here to be palatable. You’re here to be YOU. Chasing approval and validation outside of you, will lead you to a life that is empty and there will be a void within you that will never be filled. I find more often than not, women will try to fill this void by seeking male validation, and placing men on a divine pedestal that you should be on. Remember you are a prize, and no one will see that until YOU see that.

Shift: When you stop needing approval, you start attracting alignment.

Mindset Shift 4: From “I have to be perfect” to “I just have to be real.”

Perfection is a performance. Authenticity is power. The right people, opportunities, and blessings come when you stop trying to be impressive and start being true. The performance of perfectionism, is an inherent and consistent reminder, that you don’t think you are good enough. By performing, you are reinforcing that belief. Just be you girl!

Shift: You don’t need to be perfect to be powerful. You need to be present.

Mindset Shift 5: From “I’m stuck” to “I’m just being stretched.”

Growth often feels uncomfortable because it’s preparing you for more. What looks like a delay is often divine preparation. Trust the process and trust the version of you that’s emerging through it. Growth does not happen in your comfort, if that was true everyone would be living the life of their dreams, but the truth is people shy away from growing because it’s uncomfortable. Bet on yourself, and choose temporary discomfort over eternal suffering.

Shift: You’re not breaking down. You’re breaking through.
